A bit of a grey nondescript sort of day for the start of this trip around the midlands (or should it be Midlands) but a trip long overdue nevertheless. This is our first trip this year!
Engine kept cutting out as we pushed on from Stourport to Kidderminster. Cut out three times but restarted each time. My mind began to wander over possibilities: yes, fuel starvation of some sort. Was the filter blocked? had some dirt got in the fuel line? Was that repair I did yesterday causing a problem-wait a minute, when I did that repair yesterday I semi isolated the fuel system--hmm, Yes, sure enough I had forgotten to reinstate the fuel supply properly after semi isolating it yesterday. Must be losing my short term memory! Tap turned fully "on" and problem disappeared.

Moored up in Kinver and had a pint of Enville Ale in the White Hart. Owls hooting through the night.
